Our FTP site is mapped onto our website via the path "/ftp/" -- the 
whole FTP public dir is visible at http://bioperl.org/ftp/

The HTTP download link for bioperl-1.2.1-rc1 is:
http://bioperl.org/ftp/birney/bioperl-1.2.1-rc1.tar.gz

I made a news entry for this at http://news.open-bio.org and was excited 
to see the item appear on the main http://bioperl.org page a few minutes 
later. I'm really liking this system.
