emboss+jemboss on windows(tm)

Hello,

Last week I've compiled emboss (2.6.0) and jemboss
(standalone version) under windows(xp) using the 
cygwin environment. It works fine. If anyone is
interested I can provide either the binaries or
the method to overcome the various problems (or
both).
