That was originally added because of very strange problems with GNU sort in
Norway, which appeared to have a mind of its own (GNU sort, not Norway) when
deciding how to sort entry names.

"dbiflat -nocleanup" will leave the temporary files around, so you can try
sorting them by hand to see what resources it needs. The "-debug" command line
option will write a dbiflat.dbg file that includes the sort commands used. The
last one will be the one that fell over.
