[Bioperl-l] primer3 module help

To anyone who can help:

I am trying to create a Perl script that will take primers identified by
primer3 and subject them to an additional round of constraint. I looked at
the primer3 module that appears to be in development and was wondering
exactly what functionality it will have and how to use it. I am pretty new
to bioperl and Perl programming in general, so I'm not able to just look at
the code to figure it out. It seems to me, that right now, the primer3
module may not yet be fully functional. I was hoping that someone could
inform me as to what it can do so I determine whether it would be useful for
my purposes. 

if it helps I can, upon request, provide more details about what I am trying
to do.

Finally, if this is not the right forum for this question please direct me
to the right place to pose such questions.
