[Bioperl-l] Questions re/ GO parser (1/2) definition_references vs database cross-references

Hi!

We are working on a class representing GO terms (this class implements Bio::Ontology::TermI).

I am not clear about the following:

The ontologies files contains "database cross-references",
whereas the term definitions file contains "definition_references".

What is the relationship between these two terms? Are they different names for the same thing or do they differ somehow? How?
