[Bioperl-l] CVS Access Problem

That is not quite correct.
cvs.bioperl.org 'aka' cvs.open-bio.org is our anonymous CVS machine. For
security reasons (mainly we don't trust the CVS pserver mechanism) we
have formally decided to only offer anonymous CVS on a hardened box that
has nothing of value and a read-only copy of our source code.
dev.open-bio.org 'aka' dev.bioperl.org is the new machine for developers
only (people with login access and write permission to the CVS
repository). This machine is ONLY for developers and contains the master
repository filesystem.
We do not allow anonymous acccess of any sort to the dev machine.
Basically its SSH only for that system.
Clear?
cvs.open-bio.org -- read only repository for people doing anonymous
checkouts
dev.open-bio.org -- OBF developer machine for people who commit code to
the master repository.
