[Bioperl-l] SSR electronic searches

A friend of mine is interested in programs to search sequence databases for 
single sequence repeats (SSR) or microsatellites.  I know this can be much 
more than a trivial process.  I was wondering what sorts of programs/code 
is out there we could use.  I'm writing to this list for more 
information.  We do have a few leads, but I wanted to hear what sort of 
perl approaches are available.
