[Bioperl-l] fasta header

Yup, I agree with Brian. 


In my own code I generally make sure that the piece of code which takes
fasta name/description (in bioperl everything >(\S+) is the name,
everything else is description) is a pointer-to-a-function (or reference
to a function talking Perl) so it is easy to swap in new parsers. 


The "diversity" of fasta header lines means you've always got to watch
this. There is no standard for the header line
