[Biojava-l] CORBA status?

Hi all,

I'm intending to write some little CORBA servers to supply EMBL and
SWALL org.biojava.bio.Sequences + annotation in our group. I had a
look at the current state of the Biocorba bridge and it appears to be
based on the earlier idl.

Questions I have:

Should I be implementing stuff using the latest (02-01-2001) idl
(currently no code that I know of) or waiting for the idl to change
to a post-Tivoli version?

Are there any plans? I'm happy to hack at this, but don't want to
duplicate effort.
