You can always set the CLASSPATH manually - at least for testing. Go to the
build/run directory and edit run-service (or run-dashboard, if you wish to
run it from Dashboard) script(s) by adding there a line pointing to your
class (or to a jar file where you have all your own classes). Then run the
script.

Does it work now?
