[GSoC] VCFDB, 9th week

Hi all, after a hiatus from posting I'm back (with a vengeance :) )
The import script has been adapted to allow multithreaded parallelism and I
added a pair of posts on my blog:

For the next few days going to post daily updates (unless all that happens
is only super boring stuff that doesn't even deserve a post).
