Hi,

I also had some problems with this on Solaris.
Did you try to run configure with "--with-pngdriver=DIR"?.
This helps EMBOSS to pick the right header files.

We've moved to a Netra T1 and I am having problems with the PNG libraries. I
get these runtime errors
using png as output (postscript/X11 work fine). The png.h is 1.2.4. What am
I missing?
