[DAS2] RCN grants from NSF - a way to fund code sprints?

Hi,

Take a look at this:

NSF - through its Research Coordination Network  program - funds
groups of researchers who wish to collaborate on projects of mutual
interest.

This could be a way to fund future code sprints not just for DAS but
for other open source projects.
