How dependent is LDAS on MySQL? Looking at the notes on bioperl.org about Bio::DB::GFF and bioperl-db, I don't see much indication of database-independence. How much effort would be required to port LDAS and/or Bio::DB to Oracle or PostgreSQL? And would this be a good thing? Thanks, Kevin
