[DAS] Opening Ports and security Issues?

Thanks for everyones comments

I shall forward the emails to the guy in charge.

I was referring specifically to the web based DAS Viewers, sorry i should of
made that clear. I can connect to all the DAS servers behind the firewall
but when I export the scripts outside I need the IT people to open specific
ports before I can connect to the DAS providers which are not TIGR. Its
probably something specific to my scripts and/or security set up.

thanks once again, much appreciated!

Foo

Also, the new Bio::Das library allows you to fetch DAS data via web
proxies.
I'm sure Dazzle does too.

DAS clients should work anywhere outgoing web connections
do, and that DAS servers work anywhere that web servers can run.
