Dear Biopythoneers,

Is anyone interesting in attending EuroSciPy this year? Sadly the
dates don't work for
me (2-6 September 2019 in Bilbao, Spain), but I did really enjoy
EuroSciPy 2010 some
years back. Please read Marc's message to the list below.

Thank you,

Peter

Hi!

My name is Marc, and I'm a pandas maintainer and part of EuroSciPy organisation.

https://www.euroscipy.org/2019/

While EuroSciPy has since its creation been a major meeting point of
contributors to open source scientific projects, this year we are
making an effort to make this more explicit, and to make contributors
experience as meaningful as possible.

We have some ideas on how to make it happen, like having plenary
sessions where projects can give updates on their projects. The usual
sprints. Or reserving rooms for informal discussions that contributors
want to have (planned or improvised).

But most important, we would like from the community to know what we
can do for you and your project. Anything that helps you get the most
our of EuroSciPy, learn from other projects, interact with the users
of your package... is more than welcome.

The CFP is closing on Sunday, you are also welcome to submit a talk to
the event.

Please let me know if there is anything we can do for the Biopython
community (you can DM me at garcia.marc at gmail.com), and hope to see
you there.

Cheers!
Marc
