Yes, but the older SearchIO may not parse more current BLAST output (like
2.2.11).  You're usually safe with XML regardless of BLAST version, though:
it's the most stable.  

Interesting that v 1.2.3 works, though, so I'll have to investigate what
changed in between then and now.
