[Bioperl-l] Bio::Graphics output to file!

Hi,
I created an empty file colled: image.png and wrote in my script:

open (IMAGEFILE,">image.png");
print IMAGEFILE $panel->png;

The running of a script is OK, but when I open the file with my favorite image software I've got the error message:
"PNG decoder error", "this is not valid png file"

?!?!?
