Hi, Neil:
It would be possible, I think.
If you have just found the incredible Bioperl, it is a good start to browse a few tutorials.
http://www.bioperl.org/Core/Latest/modules.html
I think the most important tutorial is bptutorial at http://bioperl.org/Core/Latest/bptutorial.html
Plus, some HOWTO documenation will be also good for you.
http://bioperl.org/HOWTOs/html/SearchIO.html
http://bioperl.org/HOWTOs/html/Graphics-HOWTO.html
http://bioperl.org/HOWTOs/html/SeqIO.html
http://www.biopipe.org/docs/howto/html/biopipe_introduction_tutorial/t1.html
I hope you to enjoy Bioperl. Of course, I am also just a user, not a greate developer, which
I want to be and become.
Thanks
Sang Chul Choi

Hello
I installed locally wwwblast server is it possible to use the module Bio::Tools::Run::StandAloneBlast with it or other bioperl module to automate the search with several sequences coming from a file.
PS I am just discovering bioperl so some directions would be useful!!
Thanks in advance
