Catherine has just commited PISE wrappers - this puts us at 704 modules
and interfaces and 330k lines of code (including comments). Not bad
folks!
We may have to think about distribution sizes in the future and how we
want to logically partition different core components of the toolkit. I'm
happy to keep things together for now - you may want to insure that you
are checking out code from CVS with compression turned on (cvs -z9).
I'm preparing the 1.01 release candidate for tomorrow which we will need
people to bang on. Would like to release it mid-late next week.
Additionally I'll put together a developer's release - 1.1 - which will
have the new PISE stuff, Shawn's PHYLIP app parsers, additions to
Bio::Graphics glyphset, other modules I have to remember that have been
added, as well as some API changes which I need to go back and verify.
If you want to help with the release, please download and test the release
candidate when I post it. Also cross-platform testers are welcomed. We
still don't have a complete fix for MakeMaker issues but the bug has been
reported and acknowledged by the author.
