[Bioperl-l] makemaker released as a module in CPAN

Can someone with IRIX give a shot with this lastest MakeMaker and see if
it addresses the issues raised previously.

available as part of perl itself, is now available separately from CPAN.
MakeMaker is used by nearly every module on CPAN for building, testing and
installation. It is a critical module for Perl, but until now it was
impossible to upgrade without upgrading perl itself. What's new since 5.45
