[Bioperl-l] e-value from RemoteBlast differs from hand made blast

I experienced the same phenomenon (using StandAloneBlast.pm), but I
wasn't able to figure out the reason.
Database- and BLAST-executable-versions used when comparing with
"handmade" results were the same.
