[Bioperl-l] Versions!

% perldoc -m Bio::Seq | grep VERSION

Will give you the version that is in your /usr/lib/perl5 or PERL5LIB
if you want to check on a distro that is in a directory but have lost the
README or Makefile.PL which include the version number you can do
% grep VERSION /some/dir/Bio/Seq.pm
