I was just hired in at Emory University Genetics Department, and I need to know if BioPerl will do what I need..
I have a blastz alignment file between 2 species. I need to read the file, and look for sequence in the human that has 100% identity, and then get the macthing bases from the other species. Will Bioperl do this natively, or will I have to modify it to work?
Thanks for you help in advance, I've only been doing this for 2 weeks.
