[Bioperl-l] Troubles installing bioperl 0.7.1 on Solaris

Hi there,

We have a problem with the installation process,

perl Makefile.PL runs fine
make runs fine,

but when I run make test it fails.

We see in the installation instructions that 'you should add the line -fPIC to the CFLAGS line in Compile/SW/libs/makefile'

we don't see the /Compile/SW/libs/makefile anywhere in the distribution, and the makefile that is there contains no CFLAGS line
when grepped.
