Yeah, I guess the -kkv is for when you cvs export (i.e. make the package
ready for distribution).  There are other various sundry options; I'm not
sure yet what they're good for.  There's also probably some way to make
'-kk' a default option for updates, and -kkv a default option for exports,
but I've never delved into such things ...
