Next month Andy Baxevanis and I will be releasing the second edition
of our book (Bioinformatics, A practical guide to the analysis of
genes and proteins), and in it is a new chapter on using perl in
bioinformatics written by Lincoln Stein. Not a 'bioperl' chapter per
se, but Lincoln did mention bioperl in there.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the O'Reilly book next month as
well. I think it will mention Perl, but looks weak on the blast (from
the summary)
