[Bioperl-l] Seq object creation - update?

Is anyone planning to update the Seq object genbank/embl/etc. parsing such that
it creates GeneStructureI-compliant genes?  I understand that this would be a
painful task, but it would be a shame if it was never done...

yeah, I know,  "do it yourself"   :-)

Just wondering if anyone out there has made a start on this...
