[Bioperl-l] wow - external dependencies

OK. Now I understand why people are complaining about external
dependencies so much. It is pretty scary out there when you don't have
things installed.


I propose that we have a less "in your face" set of warnings, with 
Maekfile.PL telling what will work and what wont work in a nice, polite
way, making a file about what needs to be done to get a working system.


Perhaps printing out in large letters
