[MOBY-l] Registering with a HASA Long

The thing is, MOBY Objects are not tied to a particular programming 
language or OS platform, so what does a Long mean?  There is in pricipal 
no size limit on an Integer in MOBY.  It means Integer in the 
mathematical sense.  It would be up to the implementing client to use 
the BigDecimal in Java, or BigInt in Perl if it can't fit the data into 
a standard integer representation for the language, or at least give a 
warning that the value could not be processed.
