For 20 machines you don't need the efficiency of parasol.
You may find that you prefer the interface though, which
has a couple of levels of error checking built in, and which
allows you to track batches of jobs as well as single jobs
quite easily.    The parasol documentation is the second
or third link off of
    http://www.soe.ucsc.edu/~kent/
and you can download it via the source and/or executables
links on the same page.

Perhaps I don't understand the issues, but if I am on a remote machine, how is the scheduler going
to help that.  If I am on the cluster, then I can see the use, but once I get off and have to
remotely fire things off, a scheduler can handle that?  Thanks for educating me on this one, sorry I
am a bit fuzzy on these details.
