Hey All,

Before we go too far down this path, I suggest that we all have a good
read of the LSID proposal that Brian co-authored for the I3C. I talked
about this with the MAGE folks at the jamboree last week and we came
up with some useful ideas.

I'm half-way through reading it, and when done, I'll respond with a
summary.
