I just registered a service that generates GO_Term objects based on a keyword. The
keyword is used as input to a search. "Keyword" is used in the same sense that the GO
perl-api uses it - a keyword can include * wildcards to extend the search in either
direction. (eg. apoptosis can be *popto*), and similar to the GO perl-api, the
search includes definitions (not surprislingly, since I am using the perl-api to do the
searching :-) )
You can try this out using either the complex_client.pl script in the Client folder of
the CVS, or using the iterative CGI on the website. Lukas is working on a TAIR service
that will take the GO objects as input. Might even be finished by the end of the day!!
Now we're cookin'!!!
