I think this is a bad idea...

Moby primitive types are exactly that - "primitive", no any hint of it's
usage is given.
More, since Moby uses XML as a serialization this is a subset of schema
datatype (or at least intended to be?).
Extending basic Moby datatypes is not that easy, because all the
packages must be updated to support it.
For months I've been promised by my colleagues to include "Binary" type
to be able to pass base64 directly...
