   ...may I conclude that these are the combinations and their allowances:

   */Object  -->  */Object   is allowed to connect
   */Object  -->  N/Object   is not allowed to connect
   N/Object  -->  */Object   is allowed to connect
   N/Object  -->  N/Object   is allowed to connect
