Hi folks,

(cross-posting to a number of OBF lists, please keep replies to the
gsoc@ list).

As you will have heard, the GSoC mentoring org applications are open
right now (https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/).

I will submit the OBF application soon, and need your help to
make our project ideas page worth accepting.

As in the last years, please submit a pull request to https://github.co
m/OBF/GSoC/blob/gh-pages/00_ideas.md in order to get your ideas added.

I would be very happy to see some proposals from the "core" projects
that OBF hosts.

Your ideal project idea already has 2+ people who would be interested
in mentoring a student working on the proposal assigned. :)

Let me know if you have any questions regarding project ideas or GSoC
in general.

In the past I participated in GSoC through OBF.
This year I'm considering applying once again.
The 2020 timeline was recently announced on the GSoC website.

Is the procedure for this year the same as described in:

I would expect the OBF GSoC to run much the same way in 2020,
