[GSoC] VCFDB update

Hello, here's my new blog post:

As I stated in my blogpost, I can now start thinking about other DBMSs and
be confident I won't encounter any problem in porting the system over and
mongo seems faster than rethinkdb, especially since the last update of
rethinkdb that changed completely the communication protocol from a binary
one (protocolbuffers) to plain JSON.

I've been very busy this week with the report I have to write for my
graduation (as I mentioned in my proposal) and now that I'm almost done I
will start diving this new aspect at full speed :)

Writing reports makes me a *very* dull boy.
