Indeed emboss.open-bio.org is alive, and that is good news. But I can't find 6.6.0 on it :(
Would you happen to know if it is hosted somewhere else now, or am I just looking with the wrong place?

The http://emboss.sourceforge.net address is also down.
It looks like a temporary outage at SourceForge:

"The sourceforge.net website is temporarily in static offline mode.
Only a very limited set of project pages are available until the main
website returns to service."

Some good news, http://emboss.open-bio.org is live.
