[EMBOSS] EMBOSS Install problem: Can't make gd.c

Hello,

There is a Debian package for EMBOSS 5 provided by Charles Plessy of the 
Debian-Med community that may be directly installable on Ubuntu, too. Please 
give it a try and be so kind to report. You find more details at 
http://wiki.debian.org/pkg-emboss.
