[EMBOSS] A question about pepstats

Hi,

   I have a quick question about pepstats. I got an error to use 
the following command:

   Pepstats AAAAAAAAGAGAGAK -filter 

   I think it can take sequence as input but I got an "unable to read
sequence" error.
