Hi Tom,
you can find the withrefm and proto files on the ftp server:
ftp://ftp.neb.com/pub/rebase/
The program rebaseextract creates from the 2 input files the emboss format
files embossre.enz, .ref and .sup and places them in .../data/REBASE.
The 3 files in format 37 are already reformated, so you don't need to run
rebaseextract but just rename them and copy in the emboss data directory.

Greetings,
The files available at http://rebase.neb.com/rebase/rebase.f37.html
which offers the EMBOSS format rebase files, don't look like the input
files (withrefm and proto) shown in the documentation. Which is which?
