Compiling a single program in EMBOSS

It is possible if you work from the CVS version of EMBOSS. You
will need the latest versions of the GNU tools:
   autoconf
   automake
   libtool

(unless you use MacOSX which has a modified libtool ... in that
  case just replace the ltmain.sh files from CVS with the OSX
  version)
