Folks,

I attended a W3C workshop on the semantic web for life sciences last month
and wrote a position paper that discusses issues for the semantic web from a
DAS point of view. A big part of the discussion centers around LSID.

Others at the meeting raised similar issues with LSID, but I'd say that my
paper had the most pointed assault (thanks in large part to Andrew). If you
