From nlharris at gmail.com Sat Nov 3 05:33:14 2018 From: nlharris at gmail.com (Nomi Harris) Date: Fri, 2 Nov 2018 22:33:14 -0700 Subject: [Bosc-announce] Updated ISCB Code of Conduct Message-ID: <9BBF7C4E-28B3-4388-8D2D-CAF3266CBF7B@gmail.com> Dear members of the OBF and BOSC community, ISCB (the organization that runs ISMB) is updating their code of conduct and is seeking comments and suggestions on it as well as on the "Expected Behavior for ISCB Activities Policy?, which covers the mechanism for reporting violations of the code of conduct at ISCB events. You can review the drafts here (links at the bottom of the page): https://www.iscb.org/iscb-policy-statements If you are a current member of ISCB, you can submit your feedback via their feedback form before November 24th, 2018. We want to make sure that non-ISCB members also get a chance to express their thoughts on the updated CoC. I set up a google doc for collecting comments anonymously (though you can add your name if you like): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KNaOcak7sgXjmM0HDqSqupcA32d95prHWJC39QwmoZg/edit#heading=h.xdyu2pmzlt8w For clarity, I recommend copy-pasting any portion of the CoC or EB documents that you are commenting on. If you prefer not to deal with the google doc, feel free to email me and I will forward your comments anonymously to the ISCB leadership. Thanks, Nomi Harris (Chair, BOSC 2019, and Member of the Board of Directors, Open Bioinformatics Foundation) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
