Since 2000, BOSC has provided a forum for developers and users to interact and share research results and ideas in open source bioinformatics and open science. This year, BOSC is partnering with the Galaxy Community Conference.
GCCBOSC 2018 will include two days of talks (including some joint GCC/BOSC sessions), three keynote speakers <https://galaxyproject.org/events/gccbosc2018/keynotes/> (see below), a panel discussion, posters, demos, Birds of a Feather, and more. The two days of talks will be preceded by two days of training, and will be followed by a two-day CollaborationFest <https://galaxyproject.org/events/gccbosc2018/collaboration/>.



Abstract submission
We encourage you to submit one-page abstracts to BOSC (due March 16) on any topic relevant to open source bioinformatics or open science. After review, some abstracts will be selected for lightning talks, longer talks, demos and/or posters.
