Hi, Pjotr:

Unfortunately, I am not going to Japan.
Actually, last year, a phyloXML implementation in BioPerl was sponsored 
by Nescent.
So, it might have a chance  (even though, last year, the corresponding 
BioRuby project was indeed rejected).
