How do 'translate' conserve case when both upcase and downcase
characters are mixed?
'atg' ==> 'm'
'ATG' ==> 'M'
'Atg', 'aTg', 'atG' ==> ??? 'm' or 'M'?
'ATg', 'AtG', 'aTG' ==> ??? 'm' or 'M'?
