I'm part of the SciPy 2017 <https://www.eiseverywhere.com//ehome/220975>
organizing committee and would like to share some information regarding our
upcoming conference.

SciPy is a community dedicated to the advancement of scientific computing
through open source Python software for mathematics, science, and
engineering. The annual SciPy Conference allows participants from all types
of organizations to showcase their latest projects, learn from skilled
users and developers, and collaborate on code development.

The conference features two days of tutorials by followed by three days of
presentations, and concludes with two days of developer sprints on projects
of interest to attendees. The topics presented at SciPy are very diverse,
with a focus on advanced software engineering and original uses of Python
and its scientific libraries, either in theoretical or experimental
research, from both academia and the industry.

Please consider participating by submitting a talk or tutorial proposal or
by simply attending.

These sessions provide affordable access to expert training, and
consistently receive fantastic feedback from participants. We're looking
