Also, once you have made a pull request and the receiving repository
(like in this case https://github.com/biopython/biopython ) has TravisCI
enabled, then the pull request gets tested.

If you update the branch associated with the pull request (e.g. add more
commits, or even rebase the branch, rewrite the branch etc), then the
pull request is updated and TravisCI will retest as well.
