[Biopython-dev] Building Biopython with ICC instead of GCC (intel compiler)

How was Python itself compiled? I believe distutils is supposed to select the same compiler as was used for Python itself.

I guess this has to do with distutils? Any idea on how to force it to useonly the intel compilers?
